William Neilson Fryer

Born December 1985 in Mjölby

Raised in Mjölby in Östergötland, Sweden. Has been a partner with Anna since 2005 and has a daughter Edwina together. Since 2012 living and working together in Tystberga outside Norrköping.

Merits and assignments

William is a certified and licensed C-level Eventing trainer and style judge in cross-country jumping.

In addition to an active career as a competition rider with placings both internationally and nationally up to and including CCI4*L Eventing, 1.30 Jumping and Medium Advanced Dressage, William is also a frequently consulted horse trainer who works with riding, educating, competing and behavioural learning and correction as well as training and coaching horses and riders in all disciplines and at all levels.

William has shown several horses during young horse tests and in finals with diplomas as both dressage and jumping talents and guided horses to Breeders Trophy placings in Eventing. He has also trained young horses for national team riders in all three Olympic equestrian disciplines.

National team rider

Part of the Swedish national team in Eventing for many years both as Senior and Young Rider. Has represented Sweden during several Nations Cups and Championships.

Dolphin trainer

William has studied learning psychology in Hawaii, is a certified dolphin trainer and for over 10 years worked with the education and training of marine mammals at Kolmården Zoo.

Breeders Trophy

Showed several horses during young horse tests and in finals with diplomas as both dressage and jumping talents and placed a number of horses in Eventing Breeders Trophy.

Coaching / Mentoring

Works with coaching and mentoring both on and off horse. For example as a supervisor and staff trainer in Applied Behaviour Analysis (TBA) and Human Training Management.

Behavioral investigations

Often consulted to sort out and correct problems in the relationship between horse and rider. Can help horse owners to identify and treat the root cause of unwanted behaviours, to break negative patterns and strengthen desired behaviours in your horse.
